have your students pretend to pack their bags and head to wittenberg

As Lutheran educators, it is our responsibility to teach our students about Martin Luther. I struggled over the years though, because I couldn't find much content on him that was age appropriate for my kindergarteners.

This Passport Adventure is designed to teach your kindergarten - 2nd grade students about Martin Luther. They'll learn about his life and pretend to visit places in Wittenberg, such as the Castle Church. You will also pretend to visit Wartburg Castle and the Augustinian Monastery.

There are two drawing activities at the end of the lesson, one of which includes using watercolors. Enjoy!

"Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, i would still plant my apple tree."
