๐ŸŒŸPassport Adventures Updates

Hi Reader,

I just wanted to hop on real quick and give you a few updates on what's coming for Passport Adventures. In two weeks my class will be...๐Ÿšข CRUISING to the Bahamas. I'm very excited about this classroom transformation and can't wait to share more on how to make kids feel like they're really cruising...did someone say unlimited ice cream cones?! ๐Ÿฆ

I've been doing a recap on Instagram the last few days about how to do a Flight Day with students. In case you missed it, here is one of the reels/tutorials:

Kids will feel like they're really doing all these things when you pretend you are too! Please let me know if you have any questions about room transformations. They might seem daunting, but with a bit of planning and help, they are definitely manageable and absolutely worth doing! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Holy Week and Beyond

Passport Adventures: Holy Week and Beyond is a free lesson I created to teach children about the death and resurrection of Jesus. It's undergoing some updates (reformatting the videos, etc.) and will be ready later this week. The lesson was created for elementary students but middle schoolers could use it as well. It can be used in Christian schools, Sunday Schools, or at home. This one is extra special to me and I can't wait to rerelease it! If you already have the previous one, feel free to still go ahead and use that, but you'll find the revised version will be a bit more user-friendly. โค๏ธ

Have you had your spring break already? I still have a few more weeks to go...please send my class some positive vibes to keep us going until then. ๐Ÿคฃ Have a wonderful week!

Hi Reader, This week I am going to let one of my students take over teaching. Why? Because it's almost the end of the year and I'm exhausted...KIDDING! ๐Ÿคฃ My class will be "traveling" to Haiti on Friday. Several of my classroom families are from Haiti. One of my students, Laurryn, is extremely proud that her dad is from there. Her eyes lit up when I told the class last week we were heading to Haiti...the class has been waiting all year for this day! ๐Ÿค”So how I am going to have a 6 year old...

Hi Reader, It's hard to believe, but here we are, just a few weeks from the finish line. You've taught lessons, wiped tears, tied shoes, cheered kids on, and probably answered a thousand questions a day. You've shown up, even on the hardest mornings. And you've created a space where your students feel safe, seen, and inspired. That's not small. That's magic. These final weeks can feel long and emotional- full of energy, excitement, and exhaustion. But they're also a time of celebration,...

Hi Reader, Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! I hope you feel appreciated every day as an educator, but this week especially. ๐Ÿ’• Ople: The New Teacher App I'm excited to share about a new mobile app I recently came across that is made for teachers. Ople is designed to connect educators so they can share what works in their classrooms. It was first released in October 2024, is currently available in North America, and will be available worldwide soon. Ople is similiar to Instagram and TikTok...
